This is an early alpha, with more testing pending. Features may change and bugs are expected. Keep an exported backup of anything you want to keep, especially before updating or uninstalling.

Install in a few steps.

  1. Open this page on your Android phone and download the APK.
  2. Open the downloaded file. If Android asks, allow your browser or file manager to install unknown apps.
  3. Tap Install, then open Roster & Rarity. You can turn that install permission off afterward.
  4. Add your first card. No account is required for your local collection.

Android may show a warning because this download comes from outside Google Play. If installation is blocked, send the warning details to the person who invited you to test.

A few things to know.

Where does my collection live?

The Android app saves cards and photos in its private device storage. Clearing app data or uninstalling deletes that local collection. Export backup files regularly, or opt into a cloud-backup account. Cloud backups are manual, not automatic sync.

Can I update without losing my cards?

Install a newer APK over the existing app without uninstalling. Export a backup first. If Android rejects an update, don’t uninstall just to get past the error—check with the person who sent you the build.

Does it pull live eBay prices?

Not currently. The app links to eBay sold searches and lets you record comparable sales yourself. Values are estimates based on your entries.

What about iPhone or the web?

iPhone testing is invite-only through TestFlight. You can also use the web app. Browser data stays in that browser and can be lost when site data is cleared. Native and web collections do not sync automatically.

How do I report a problem?

Send the person who invited you a screenshot, your phone model, Android version, and the steps that led to the issue. Include “Alpha 3” so they know which build you used. Avoid sharing private account details.
